HS&E Advisor

Our client is currently seeking a HS&E Advisor Senior Project HS&E Advisor will be responsible for ensuring corporate and government safety guidelines are adhered to in every aspect of the company's activities, particularly those that involve day to day design, engineering and construction activities.
This position assists in the development, implementation, and administration of safety, health, environmental protection, and substance abuse prevention programs affecting employee and public safety, occupational health, fire protection and prevention, and equipment and property protection.
Our Senior Project Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor :
Responsible for moderately complex technical work in a wide range of HSE disciplines to achieve compliance with Jacobs HS&E standards and regulatory requirements, and works under very general direction and independently determines and develops approaches to solutions.
Responsible for implementation of field HS&E program and occupational safety and health regulation in regional operations.
Conducts reviews of potential risks on projects (HS&E, contracting, and insurance) and identifies potential mitigation measures.
Monitors and advises on mitigations necessary to prevent chemical, physical and biological hazards and diseases that could be present in the work place.
May act as a lead person or technical expert and provide direction to less experienced personnel.
Conducts regular walk through inspections of construction areas, and investigations in accordance with legal requirements.
Has specific knowledge of specialty areas (Construction Safety and Environmental Management) and performs onsite audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
Inspects or surveys workplaces, processes, products or other systems for compliance with established safety and occupational health policies or standards and to identify potential new hazards.
BS required, degree in industrial hygiene, safety, or related field preferred; 24 semester hours of study from the following disciplines:
safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, occupational medicine, toxicology, public health, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biological sciences, or engineering.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
