Manager of Engineering

Jacobsprovides full-service engineering, procurement, and construction managementservices for both new and existing facilities, offering environmental and water/ wastewater support, energy audits, and hygienic / sanitary assessments. Strategic and tactical responsibility for implementing allaspects of engineering and architectural strategy and strategic operationalactivities within the Jacobs Life Sciences North America - Conshohockenorganization. Ensures all engineering and architectural projects, initiatives,and processes are in conformance with organization's established policies andobjectives, including people and budgetary management. Works closely withinternal and external clients, customers, and sales regarding technical supportof their activities. Responsible for all areas of the engineering and architecturalfunction and quality of service delivery. Provides clear leadership andvision to inspire and motivate staff to achieve excellence. Drives keyperformance indicators across all areas of engineering and architecture toensure projects are delivered on time and on cost, to the higheststandard. Ensures HSE issues are prioritized.
Requiresa bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 15-20 years' experience inthe field. A master's degree and professional registration is preferred.
Demonstratedexpertise in a variety of engineering and architectural concepts, practices,and procedures required.
Mustpossess extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Musthave experience leading and directing the work of others.
Musthave demonstrable experience in leading an engineering/architectural functionwith a proven track record in delivering effective strategies, policies,processes and systems.
Abilityto add value, reduce costs and make business improvements.
Relocationto the Philadelphia area will be offered to the successful candidate.
