Here we grow again!! Reimbursement Technologies, Inc. (RTI) was founded in 1991 to provide comprehensive service-oriented billing and financial management services primarily to emergency department physicians. Since then, RTI has grown into a 700+-employee firm that processes the billing for over 12 million emergency room visits annually for physicians in over 38 states.

POSITION SUMMARY: This Full-time position require employees to process denials and other correspondence received from third party payors in accordance with RTI procedures and guidelines in an effort to resolve denial issues and rebill "clean" claims for payment. In addition, they must also be a backup to patient services representatives who take heavy inbound telephone inquiries from patients, attorneys or other interested parties in a high volume call center environment.

Start date: September 15, 2014
Hours: 9:30- 6:00 Monday-Friday after 8 weeks of training (Training hours 8:00 AM-4:30 PM)
Starting Salary is $11.50 per hour, however after training there are incentives available which are based on meeting or exceeding production and performance standards.

Job Requirements:
Proof of High School Diploma or GED
At least 6 months experience in medical billing preferred (or recent graduate of a Medical Administrative or Office program) (Recent graduates must have proof of at least a 3.5 GPA with 95% attendance or better)
Past stable work history
Prior office experience preferred
Prior Call Center experience preferred
Excellent verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of basic math including percentages
Working knowledge of basic computer functions, with an emphasis on typing
Ability to multi-task and prioritze tasks
Strong attention to detail skills
Basic understanding of medical Insurance Terminology a plus
Ability to work in a production type enviornment a must

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
