Spring EQ is seeking a Jr. Closer to assist the team in various activities within the closing department. This includes vetting and approving outside title companies/settlement agents, assist in reviewing loan files for accuracy, assisting in sending Initial Closing Disclosures and any other related activities to assist in the efficiency and production of the closing team. A successful candidate will be driven, passionate and flourish in an operational role that is extensive and dynamic.
Responsibilities:
Assist and support the closing team to increase efficiency and production
Manage a pipeline that consists of loans utilizing outside title companies
Review and request title documentation based upon established company guidelines
Vet outside title companies, attorney's or settlement agents by utilizing third party vendor
Assist in completing checklist-based audits to ensure data entry and documentation in the file are accurate and consistent.
Assist in sending Initial Closing Disclosures
Maintain great communication with internal and external customers
Perform other closing related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
2 or more years of professional work experience is preferred
High quality, detailed, analytical skillset.
Ability to remain focused for long periods of time
Job requires sitting and use of technology for 8 hours per day.
Customer service experience OR mortgage related experience is preferred
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-past, team-oriented environment
