is the sales reconciliation tool used to upload data and support needed for salesThe role is to secure the operational sales and safe reconciliation for the Retail locationsIt includes securing that the received funds, in different types of payments and the expected payment, i.ereceipt, are sent, uploaded, authorized in case of differences and correctly booked to a book keeping systemBy reporting to the Accounting & Reporting Transactional Team Lead, the SAREC
Accountant is responsible for the following duties:
Perform daily safe and sales reconciliationSecure, collect and upload data from manual sourcesPrepare month-end and year-end close journal entries and adjustments as neededIdentify cashier, safe, gift card, credit card and other variancesCommunicate directly with store representatives to resolve discrepanciesInvestigate and identify causes for variancesMake relevant adjustments based on dialogue with payment teamSecure authorization and follow up by retail location in case of differences.PREFERRED:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance0 -3 years of accounting/auditing experienceUnderstanding the receive payment process/cash flowExperience of handling receipts and sales is preferredPotential management/ leadership skillsESSENTIAL FOR PARTICULAR JOB:
Solid accounting/tax knowledge, working school or experience in finance/accounting/tax preferredGood computer skills especially Microsoft Excel, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables.Strong communication and coordinating skillsProfessional problem solving and knowledge sharing skillsGood time management skillsGood analytical skillsQuick learnerAbility to concentrate and work accurately.
