Financial Reporting Accountant
Job Description:
SAREC
is the sales reconciliation tool used to upload data and support needed for sales. The role is to secure the operational sales and safe reconciliation for the Retail locations. It includes securing that the received funds, in different types of payments and the expected payment, i.e. receipt, are sent, uploaded, authorized in case of differences and correctly booked to a book keeping system.By reporting to the Accounting & Reporting Transactional Team Lead, the SAREC
Accountant is responsible for the following duties:
o Perform daily safe and sales reconciliationo Secure, collect and upload data from manual sourceso Prepare month-end and year-end close journal entries and adjustments as neededo Identify cashier, safe, gift card, credit card and other varianceso Communicate directly with store representatives to resolve discrepancieso Investigate and identify causes for varianceso Make relevant adjustments based on dialogue with payment teamo Secure authorization and follow up by retail location in case of differences.PREFERRED:
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance o 0 -3 years of accounting/auditing experience o Understanding the receive payment process/cash flow o Experience of handling receipts and sales is preferred o Potential management/ leadership skillsESSENTIAL FOR PARTICULAR JOB:
