Overview:
Lutron is seeking an experienced Director to lead our company's sustainability initiatives out of our Conshohocken, PA office.
In this role, you will be responsible for aligning our sustainability strategy with the organization's values and goals.
Additionally, you will work cross-functionally across the organization to collaborate, influence, and promote sustainable practices throughout our facilities.
You will reference your corporate sustainability experience to establish and execute a multi-year roadmap that will support our organization's progress in this critical space and serve as the internal resource for the business.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with our organization's values and goals.
Establish a multi-year roadmap to achieve our organization's sustainability goalsLead employees, cross-functional teams, and third-party consultants to execute on roadmap deliverablesEstablish infrastructure for measurement; track and share progress on goals and revise as necessary:
Collect data and metrics; track and report resultsCollaborate on data management, including identifying types of data, sources, and management systems for reportingDevelop and maintain an ESG dashboard, including targets, KPI's and action plans - utilized by key stakeholdersStay up to date on regulatory requirements and ensure adherence to the sustainability laws and regulations that apply to our organizationMonitor industry and supply chain trends, regulatory requirements, and best practicesDrive and support our organization's public-facing statements, commitments and progress updates on our sustainability strategy and goalsOversee the application and maintenance of LEED and any other sustainability certifications for our facilities and real estate projectsConduct regular sustainability assessments within our organization to identify areas for improvement and integrate sustainable practices within all relevant areas of the company Promote employee engagement in sustainability practices and provide training and guidance to employees on sustainable business practicesAdvocate for sustainability within the organizationServe as an internal resource for the business and go to expert for sustainability, and communicate and educate others on sustainability topics
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees in business, environmental science, or related field preferredMinimum, cumulative GPA 3.

years relevant sustainability experience working for a manufacturing company is preferredLEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) certification is preferredExperience with life cycle assessments (LCA), environmental product declarations (EPD), and other key construction products sustainability certifications and documentation a plusExperience with Greenhouse Gases (GHG) emissions accounting, circular economy principles, and developing sustainability methodologies used for calculating environmental impactsLutron Electronics' position as the worldwide leader in innovative lighting control and shading solutions has enabled consistent, annual growth.
